Choose the right output

A report presents measurement targets, records, charts and diagnostic conclusions for reading. Data export provides numbers for further analysis or saves charts. Equipment-configuration export exchanges asset records, while a system backup supports software-data recovery. These four outputs serve different purposes.

Generate an acquisition report

  1. Open the Report Center from Home or the workspace, or enter acquisition reporting from the diagnosis page.
  2. Select an acquisition-report template and Acquisition Records as the scope.
  3. Select the measured records required for this report. Check equipment, point, ID, time and RPM. A report accepts up to 50 records.
  4. If the list has not loaded all records, click Load More. The visible count is not necessarily the total history count.
  5. Click Generate Word and PDF and wait for generation to finish.
  6. Inspect the PDF preview, then download Word and PDF separately. Verify the record scope and charts, rather than relying on a successful button click.

The diagnosis page may disable reporting when human review is unsaved, results are stale or a historical snapshot is being viewed. Save or rerun diagnosis before reporting.

Generate an inspection report

Select the acquisition template, change the summary scope to Inspection Execution, and select the route and a specific execution batch before generating.

The report should use that execution snapshot and its associated records. Check skipped points and abnormal-condition notes. Do not substitute records from another execution for points that were not measured in this one.

Generate a balancing report

Choose the single-plane or two-plane report template to match the project, enter the actual balancing project ID and generate. The project ID comes from the balancing workflow and differs from an acquisition-record ID.

Correction-weight results and residual assessment must retain the software's stated reference status. The unimplemented ISO determination must not be presented as a formal standards pass.

Export a raw waveform

Select a measured record in the analysis workspace, open Data Export, choose Raw Waveform, select at least one of CH1 and CH2, choose a format and export.

Format Use and interpretation
CSV Time and physical sample values for spreadsheet and numerical tools
MAT MATLAB-readable data structures with unit information
TDMS Data for compatible engineering analysis tools
WAV A 16-bit PCM audio representation for listening; audio volume cannot reconstruct a formal physical amplitude

For quantitative analysis, prefer formats containing raw numerical values and metadata. If an old record is marked incomplete, any permitted waveform export includes only the samples actually saved. It must not be treated as a reconstructed full segment.

Export spectra and analysis summaries

Choose FFT Spectrum, check the current spectrum type and unit, select the channel or channels, then choose CSV or XLSX. Multiple-channel CSV output is packaged according to the interface rules. XLSX provides an information sheet and channel-spectrum sheets. Spectrum export is unavailable without a complete, analyzable record.

Analysis Summary exports record statistics, indicators, peaks and related content. The Report Center can also export an analysis-summary Excel file for 1 to 50 selected acquisition records.

The workspace summary covers one record, whereas the Report Center can summarize multiple records. Check the record count before exporting.

Export charts

Quick chart export saves the current chart. The chart category in the Data Export dialog offers additional charts and format choices.

Let the relevant data finish loading, then check the selected record, chart, spectrum type, channels, units and display range. A display offset or color scale does not change the underlying measurement values.

Samples, missing analysis inputs and unfinished loading restrict some exports. An exportable shaft-orbit example must retain its sample meaning and must not be used as a measured result in a report.

If generation or downloading fails

First check that the target exists, records or a project have been selected, the record limit has not been exceeded and the required analysis is available. Read service and file-download errors.

A completed-generation message still needs an actual file download check. If preview does not display but generation succeeded, try downloading from the generated result. If generation did not succeed, do not assume a file exists.

Before regenerating, check whether processing parameters or human review changed so that an old report is not presented as the latest result. Retain measurement times, record IDs and the conditions used when important reports were generated.
