Based on operating notes recorded on 21 September 2026. This date is not a release version; applicability to your installed software must be confirmed.

Scope and software version

This guide preserves a software operating record dated September 21, 2026. The date identifies the record, not a software release. The guide is not tied to a confirmed release, and applicability to the software currently in use has not been confirmed. The original record did not include runtime or hardware acceptance testing.

Use the chapter title and recorded date when referring to this guide. Functions not described here cannot be confirmed from this material. For hardware capabilities, use the formal documentation for the exact model. If the installed interface differs, verify the applicable release before relying on a procedure.

What the software does

The main CZ800 workflow is to create equipment and measurement-point records, connect an acquisition card, capture vibration data, inspect waveforms and spectra, perform bearing diagnosis or field balancing, repeat measurements through inspection routes, and then create reports, export data and make backups. The AI assistant offers product-document questions and answers, selected software queries, and supported operations after confirmation.

An equipment record represents the machine being measured, such as a pump. An acquisition card is the hardware communicating with the computer. A measurement point is a particular measurement location on that machine. Selecting equipment does not connect an acquisition card; connecting a card does not create equipment or measurement points.

Functions and prerequisites

Function Purpose Entry and conditions
Home Choose a module and inspect connection and service status Displayed after startup
Overview Review business statistics and recent captures Home or the Overview menu
Equipment management Organize groups, equipment and points; maintain codes, speed and thresholds Equipment management
Data acquisition Save measured vibration data against a selected point Acquisition; requires the relevant license and a valid hardware connection
Waveform analysis Inspect vibration over time, impacts and channel differences Analysis workspace; select a measured record
Spectrum analysis Inspect frequency components, peaks, harmonics and sidebands Analysis workspace; requires a complete, analyzable record
Combined waveform and spectrum Compare time and frequency views of the same record Waveform and Spectrum in the workspace
Envelope analysis Inspect the impact-signal envelope and its frequency components Envelope Waveform or Envelope Spectrum
Cepstrum Help identify repeating spacing in the spectrum Cepstrum in the workspace
Trends Compare accumulated indicators for one point over time Trend view or the workspace trend menu
Waterfall Compare spectra from repeated captures at one point Waterfall; requires multiple historical records
Speed-amplitude plot Compare historical CH1 1X amplitude with speed The recorded Bode Plot entry; no phase curve is available
Shaft orbit Learn how X/Y displacement trajectories are displayed A sample only; measured records lack the required inputs
Bearing diagnosis Match bearing characteristic frequencies using the model, speed and envelope spectrum Bearing Diagnosis; requires its license
Field balancing Calculate correction weights from initial, trial-weight and residual measurements Field Balancing; requires its license
Inspection routes Organize several points into an ordered inspection Inspection Routes
Report center Generate reports from captures, route executions or balancing projects A dialog opened from Home or the workspace
Data export Export waveforms, spectra, statistics or charts for review Export in the analysis workspace
Settings Manage defaults, language, licenses, backups and restoration Settings
AI assistant Consult documentation, learn procedures, query software data and propose supported operations AI Assistant on Home

Whether an entry appears or can be used also depends on the actual license, available data and application state.

Choose a chapter

For a first measurement, begin with the first-use workflow. For an abnormal historical record, inspect waveform and spectrum before deciding whether bearing diagnosis is appropriate. Use inspection routes for repeated checks of several machines and the dedicated balancing workflow for rotor correction-weight calculations. Use reports to present results and data export when another application needs numerical data.

Software functions and product specifications

Hardware range, accuracy, wiring, installation dimensions and sensor compatibility must come from the formal documentation for the corresponding model. A capability mentioned in a product brochure does not establish that every related software entry is fully implemented. Consult CZ800 and CZ800D documentation separately for their respective models.

Sample data and measured data

When no measured record is selected, some analysis views may show clearly labeled interface examples. These demonstrate the display. Before interpreting a measurement, check the equipment, point, capture time and record ID.

A sample curve is not a result just acquired from the connected instrument. Export functions also depend on having an eligible measured record.
