Based on operating notes recorded on 21 September 2026. This date is not a release version; applicability to your installed software must be confirmed.

Prepare the first session

  1. Start the desktop software and wait for the backend service to become ready. Resolve a reported service connection failure before acquisition.
  2. Open Settings and check license status, expiry date and the Portable Acquisition, Bearing Diagnosis and Field Balancing feature switches. If authorization is needed, follow the device-fingerprint and license-code process provided there.
  3. Select the interface language. You can save acquisition defaults in Settings, but still check the acquisition form for each measurement.
  4. In Equipment Management, create groups, equipment and measurement points. Include the site location in equipment names and the physical location in point names; record horizontal, vertical or axial direction.
  5. Connect the sensor and acquisition card according to their hardware manuals. Ensure the software sensor type and sensitivity match the actual sensor. This guide does not supply unverified wiring instructions.

Complete the first ordinary measurement

  1. Open Data Acquisition from Home.
  2. Open connection settings, refresh the serial ports, select the actual acquisition-card port and connect. Use the displayed connection result to confirm success.
  3. Open the point selector and choose the equipment and point actually being measured.
  4. Select Free or Synchronous hardware acquisition. Check the sample rate, sample count, sensor type and sensitivity. For synchronous acquisition, also check samples per cycle and cycle count.
  5. Select the Single task mode. Begin with one complete segment so that the target and parameters can be checked.
  6. Click Start. Before starting, the workspace sends the configuration from the form. Completing the form alone does not show that the card accepted it.
  7. Wait for completion and check the record's equipment, point, time, sample rate, actual sample count and waveform.
  8. Switch to the spectrum or another analysis view. For bearing diagnosis, separately select the bearing model and a valid speed.
  9. Export the required data, or open the Report Center and select this record for a report.
  10. Create a backup in Settings when appropriate and confirm success before exiting.

Recognize a completed measurement

Clicking Start submits a task; progress indicates that acquisition is in progress. After completion, a saved measured record should appear in the selected point's history and its waveform should load. Under the recorded saving rules, stopping before the first segment is complete can leave no new record.

The equipment, point and time in an analysis report should match the actual operating condition. A waveform does not establish that every diagnosis prerequisite is satisfied. For example, a waveform may remain usable at a recorded speed of 0 RPM, while field balancing cannot extract valid 1X data from that record.

Follow the workflow for the task

Routine condition check: select the point, check operating conditions and parameters, acquire data, inspect the waveform and spectrum, compare history from the same point, record the field assessment, then export or create a report.

Bearing investigation: capture a complete record, open Bearing Diagnosis, select the record, bearing, speed and tolerance, run diagnosis, inspect peaks and decision criteria, save the human review, then create a report.

Inspection: create a route and point templates, start or continue an execution, enter acquisition from each execution point, confirm the saved record is linked back, add status and notes, process all points, complete the inspection, then generate a report for that execution.

Balancing: select the equipment, point and single-plane or two-plane workflow, take the initial measurement and each trial-weight measurement, calculate correction weights, measure residual vibration in the corrected condition, review the reference assessment, complete the project, then use its project ID for the report.

Detailed procedures are provided in bearing diagnosis, field balancing, inspection routes and reports and exports.

Check the target before and after an action

Distinguish equipment with the same name by its code, parent group and ID. Distinguish historical captures by time and record ID. For inspections, check the route and execution batch; for balancing, check the project and measurement stage.

An AI response does not replace selecting the correct object. Any confirmation card must match the intended target for the current operation.
