Bench construction and measurement
The bearing-vibration fault simulation bench uses a modular design with an overhung rotor and a single rotor disc. It supports vibration accelerometers through standard mounting holes and brackets.
Fault simulations and experiments
- Gear wear, broken teeth, gear cracks and missing teeth.
- Static and dynamic unbalance, including overhung-rotor unbalance.
- Misalignment and looseness.
- Bearing outer-race, inner-race, rolling-element, cage and combined faults.
- Recognition of vibration characteristic frequencies at different rotational speeds.
- Single-plane balancing, impact testing and run-up/coast-down tests.
- Gear eccentricity, resonance and related machine-vibration experiments.

Assembly limitation
The equipment list states an 8 mm–14 mm coupling and separate 15 mm diameter shafts. Their assembly relationship remains unconfirmed; neither dimension has been changed to imply a verified fit. Confirm the supplied mechanical arrangement before planning assembly.
