Product manual

YD30W acceleration and temperature sensor

Piezoelectric vibration measurement, PT100 temperature measurement and configuration options.

On this page

This independent manual specifies a 0–2 kHz frequency response (−3 dB). The July 2024 CZ900 system introduction specifies 0–10 kHz (−3 dB) for YD30W. The applicable hardware version is not established, so the two bandwidths are not merged.

Measurement functions

YD30W combines an integrated piezoelectric accelerometer with a built-in PT100 platinum resistance temperature element. Its vibration section includes conversion, measurement and amplification circuits. Filtering and detection of the acceleration signal support machinery condition monitoring.

The temperature signal is described as the PT100 element signal. This document does not specify a separate temperature transmitter current output or a terminal assignment; do not infer those from vibration/temperature transmitters with similar names.

Ordering configuration

The structure is YD30W-A-B-C-D. Sensitivity examples are A100 = 100 mV/g and A200 = 200 mV/g. Mounting codes B01–B06 select M10 × 1.5, M5 × 0.8, M8 × 1.25, 1/4–28, magnetic base or custom manufacture.

Cable codes include C01 = 1 m, C02 = 2 m and C10 = 10 m. Lead arrangement D00 is direct cable, K identifies an armored cable and D01 is a circular connector. Confirm the PT100 and acceleration connections for the selected lead arrangement before wiring.
