GZW50/150 vibration and temperature sensor

Independent vibration and temperature outputs, limits and ordering configuration for the mining sensor.

On this page

The output-impedance entry is printed as <500Ω2.5. The trailing 2.5 has no confirmed meaning and must not be treated as a valid unit or silently removed. The specifications and ordering table also list different temperature-range choices; confirm the supplied configuration.

Independent measurement circuits

GZW50/150 measures temperature with a PT100 platinum resistance element and vibration with a piezoelectric sensor. The stainless-steel housing contains independent vibration and temperature signal circuits. Each measurement has a separate two-wire 4–20 mA output.

The source describes the instrument as intrinsically safe for mining and gives the marking Ex ib I Mb. This article reports the source marking without verifying certificate validity.

B: mounting 01 = M10 × 1.5; 02 = M8 × 1.25; 03 = 1/4–28; 04 = magnetic base; 05 = custom
C: cable 01 = 1 m; 02 = 2 m; 03 = 3 m; further lengths indicated
D: leads 00 = direct cable; K = armored; 01 = circular connector
E: temperature span 01 = 0–100 °C; 02 = 0–150 °C; 03 = −50 to 150 °C; 04 = −50 to 100 °C
F: temperature-probe insertion 00 = no rod; 01 = 10 mm; 02 = 20 mm; continuing to 10 = 100 mm

The operating-temperature limit in the technical table is distinct from an ordered temperature measurement span. Confirm the insertion depth and mechanical drawing for the monitored machine.
