Shanghai CEZHEN Showcases CZ800/800D at the 2026 China International Fluid Machinery Exhibition

The 13th China (Shanghai) International Fluid Machinery Exhibition was recently held in Shanghai. Shanghai CEZHEN Automation Instrument Co., Ltd. presented its sensors, instruments, vibration monitoring and fault diagnosis products at booth 3HA35. During the exhibition, the company showcased the newly upgraded CZ800/800D portable vibration analyzer and field balancing instrument, and discussed practical needs in rotating equipment condition monitoring and maintenance with customers and technical professionals from the fluid equipment, fan, pump and valve, and compressor industries.

Pumps, fans and compressors often run for long periods under demanding conditions. When vibration changes, maintenance teams need more than a single reading: they need a way to inspect the signal, compare records and decide what to investigate next. At the exhibition, CEZHEN presented the CZ800/800D as a portable tool for bringing these tasks together.

A workflow from acquisition to diagnosis

The CZ800 software home screen brings together data acquisition, data analysis, fault diagnosis, dynamic balancing, inspection tasks and the AI assistant. This layout reflects a typical workflow: collect measurements at the equipment, review the data, investigate possible causes and document the results.

Equipment and measurement point management help users associate records with the machine and location being checked. Inspection routes and execution records support planned rounds across multiple machines, while saved data and reports provide a basis for later review and internal communication.

Examine waveforms and spectra together

A rising vibration value can indicate that a machine needs attention, but it does not by itself identify the cause. The data analysis screen offers waveform and spectrum views, including a combined view that places the time-domain signal alongside its frequency content. Technicians can use these views to examine how vibration changes over time and across frequencies, then compare findings with the equipment's operating conditions and history.

The illustrated screen shows a sample record and its time-domain statistics. The data shown is an example, not a diagnosis of a customer's equipment. Saved records can be reviewed and analysis parameters adjusted, while charts and related data can be exported for discussion and archiving.

Compare the evolution of historical measurements

When several measurements are available, a waterfall view can display spectra from different acquisition batches together. This helps technicians visually compare frequency content across records and identify changes that may warrant closer examination. The example below shows the software's waterfall view alongside time-domain statistics; it should be interpreted in the context of the underlying records and measurement conditions.

Trend views and historical records also help maintenance teams compare the same measurement point over time. Such comparisons provide evidence for deciding whether to inspect further, repeat a measurement or plan maintenance; they do not replace a review of operating conditions.

Bearing diagnosis and field balancing

For bearing investigations, the CZ800/800D provides diagnosis functions that use information such as bearing model and rotational speed alongside envelope spectra and characteristic frequencies. Results can be saved with a technician's conclusions and maintenance recommendations. Diagnosis should always be assessed against measurement conditions, machine operation and professional experience.

For equipment suitable for field correction, such as certain fans, the instrument supports single-plane and two-plane balancing. Initial and trial-weight measurements, correction calculations and residual vibration checks can be recorded as part of the process. Phase must be entered according to the measurement conditions, and qualified personnel should determine whether field balancing is appropriate for the machine.

AI assistance with professional review

The upgraded CZ800 software includes an AI assistant that, under the appropriate configuration conditions, can help users obtain operating guidance and organize information or analysis. In bearing diagnosis and other specialist work, its explanations are supplementary: field measurements, verification of operating conditions and final professional judgment remain essential.

Supporting different monitoring needs

Alongside the CZ800/800D, Shanghai CEZHEN displayed eddy current sensors, vibration transmitters, portable vibration meters, AI-based fault diagnosis and analysis systems, and TSI framework monitoring systems. The technical team discussed high-temperature sensor applications, industrial bus integration and online equipment monitoring with visitors.

Portable instruments can support periodic field checks, while critical equipment requiring continuous attention may call for an online monitoring solution selected for its operating conditions. CEZHEN will continue to develop vibration monitoring and fault diagnosis products for equipment maintenance in fluid machinery, petrochemicals, thermal power, metallurgy and other industries.
