Inspection functions and applications
YD66 combines Bluetooth data transmission with vibration inspection, non-contact infrared temperature measurement and laser speed measurement. The catalog describes simultaneous acquisition of acceleration, velocity and displacement overall values, plus the waveform for one selected measurement type. Magnetic mounting allows the instrument to be moved between inspection locations.
Applications include condition assessment of industrial rotating machinery in power generation, chemical processing, cement and water services. Cable-free vibration measurement avoids sensor cable and plug wear. Wireless charging avoids repeated insertion of a charging connector. Low-power sleep/wake behavior is advertised, although the original wording of that feature is unclear.

Vibration measurement
| Measurement | Range and accuracy | Frequency response |
|---|---|---|
| Acceleration | 0–200 m/s² peak, ±5% | 10 Hz–2 kHz |
| Velocity | 0–200 mm/s RMS, ±5% | 10 Hz–1 kHz |
| Displacement | 0–2000 μm peak-to-peak, ±5% | 10 Hz–1 kHz |
Sampling frequency: 5120 Hz; 12800 Hz optional.
Infrared temperature measurement
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Method | Non-contact infrared |
| Range | −32 to +420°C |
| Distance-to-spot ratio | D:S = 25:1 |
| Response time | < 500 ms |
| Accuracy, as printed | ±1%°C or 1%, whichever is greater; expression unconfirmed |
| Adjustable parameter | 0.1–1.0; the catalog label translates as emission, but its exact parameter name is unconfirmed |
The temperature diagram labels distance D in millimeters as 0, 400, 600, 800 and 1000, and target diameter S as 13, 20, 30, 35 and 40 respectively. The relationship between these examples and the stated 25:1 ratio is unconfirmed; do not derive further measurement limits from the diagram.
Laser speed measurement
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Method | Reflected laser light; apply a reflective patch to the shaft before measurement |
| Speed range | 50–8000 r/min |
| Accuracy | ±(0.02%n + 1) r/min |
| Effective measuring distance | Within 50 cm |
The component drawing identifies the infrared lens, laser emitter, laser receiver and magnetic base, and shows a wireless connection to a handheld terminal. The speed illustration identifies the rotating part, reflective patch and reflective photoelectric sensor.
Specification limitations
The rating P66 is reproduced without adding an I. The temperature-accuracy expression and the 0.1–1.0 parameter label remain unresolved; they have not been replaced with assumed conventional specifications. The overview gives Exib IIC T5, while the specification table gives Exib IIC T5 Gb; confirm the marking and documents for the selected variant.
